The Rooms
Each room is a self-contained story with its own set of puzzles. Pick by theme if you know what your group likes, or by difficulty if you want a fair fight.
Horror / SuspenseRecently, there have been several cases of missing persons in Yendys City. According to survivors, they were all kidnapped and held in the abandoned basement by a mysterious organisation that called itself "Cain". Today, you woke up and found yourself in a cell along with other strangers.
Crime / DetectiveToday, you will all be agents and performing your first ever independent operation. The "Brain" of this operation will give you guidance along the way, and you will also be given a score at the end. So, good luck! And don't miss out on any details! From now on, you will be called "The Watchers".
Family / HeartwarmingA few days ago, your father's funeral brought you siblings together again. In his will, he mentioned a mysterious cabin, which he left for you the most precious gift of his legacy. You meet each other in the cabin to uncover his dusty memories and the treasured gifts together.

Escape Rooms Sydney
Ice Break Escape Room is an escape room venue in the Sydney CBD, on Level 10 at 428 George St, two minutes from Town Hall Station and a block from the QVB. We run four themed escape rooms side by side, so a large group can split across rooms and still finish at the same time.
Every Sydney escape room we run is a private game. You only ever play with the people you booked with, never with strangers, and a games master watches your session and drops clues when your team gets stuck.
Rooms range from a 60 minute family adventure through to an 80 minute detective scenario that most teams do not finish. If you have never done an escape room in Sydney before, start with Legacy or Darkness Reborn.

Ice Break Escape Room is at Suite 1, Level 10, 428 George St, Sydney NSW 2000, in the Sydney CBD. We are a two minute walk from Town Hall Station and a block from the QVB. Call 0404 081 928 or email info@icebreakgroup.com if you have trouble finding us.
Our prices are per group, not per person, and start at $304 for a group of 3 to 4 Monday to Saturday. A group of 6 is $348 Monday to Saturday and $482 on Sundays and public holidays. The more players you bring, the less each person pays.
Legacy and Darkness Reborn are our two easiest rooms, both rated 2 out of 5. Legacy is a family story about a father and the cabin he left behind; Darkness Reborn is a wizarding mystery. Both run 60 minutes and take players from age 8.
Eyes of Argos is our hardest room, rated 5 out of 5. It is an 80 minute detective scenario for 3 to 5 players aged 15 and over, and most teams do not escape on their first attempt.
Redemption is our horror room. It runs 80 minutes for 3 to 10 players aged 15 and over, and it has live actors who respond to what your team does. Our other three rooms have no horror element.
Each room takes between 3 and 10 players depending on the room. For larger groups we run several rooms at the same time and can host up to 28 players in total, which is what most team building and birthday bookings do.
Yes, we recommend it. Every session is private, so once a time is taken it is gone. Friday to Sunday sessions and public holidays book out first. You can check live availability and book online in a couple of minutes.
Legacy and Darkness Reborn are suitable from age 8, and Eyes of Argos and Redemption are both suitable from age 15. Any player under 14 needs at least one adult in the room with them.
There is no dedicated parking at 428 George St, but there are several paid car parks within a short walk, including the QVB and Town Hall car parks. Most players come by train, since Town Hall Station is two minutes away.
Yes. Escape rooms work well as team building activities in Sydney because every player has to contribute to get out. We regularly host corporate groups of 10 to 28 across multiple rooms running at once.
